Calibre Error Communicating With Device Nook
The volume in this case is connected to my PC via USB. I have no knowledge of why write protect is on, when it shouldn't be. If so, then how can the errors possibly be corrected, if the volume is read-only?! lol This issue was first noticed on MobileRead: http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3191831 For what it's worth, that person couldn't get Adobe Digital Editions to communicate with the Nook either... Also I have tried every idea listed on the faq's along with updating the software of the device. Now when I connect this device to OpenSUSE, it comes up as a "Portable Media Player". Once again, that is an error writing a file to the device.
Here's the problem that I'm trying to resolve: I use Calibre with an e-book reader that connects via USB. When I plug in the HD+ I get the following error:
