If you've tried the above techniques, and it's still showing locked, it's likely that the locking switch inside the camera's card slot is stuck. A card can also corrupt if camera power is interrupted during the write process (such as changing batteries or batteries dying while the card is still writing the last picture taken). A friend suggested reformatting a card in-camera, so I tried that, no diff. The card isn't read by my.computer and I would really like to retrieve tje dats that was on it.

if i go to turn the camera on regular no issues without a card in it i can take up to 14 pics i believe it is with internal memory.
